I am totally disappointed in the quality of food and the service. I was a longtime customer of the Pattaconk but I don't ever think I will go there again! Tell your family and friends to find another place. I have found that the old "Chart House" in Chester is totally awesome not that it's under new ownership! Check it out!

I highly recommend anyone that wants good food-cosy atmosphere-and wonderful service to find another place to bring your family and friends other than the Pattaconk in chester! we had the worse experience ever there! the food was cold and burnt-can you imagine that! the service was aweful and we left hungry after the server failed to returned to check on our food statis. she ran by us and dropped off the check because she was too busy smoking her cigarette with the other staff on the stairway below us on the patio. no management was on duty according to the unaccomodating bar tender on our way out! never again!

The Pattaconk claims to have $2 beer specials. The last 2 times I went there, they were out of those beers, so now we're back to their $4.50 lagers. Very convenient.

The best way to reach this place is by canoe through Chester Creek (at least that's how my brother and I did it.) Impressive beer selection for such a "small town joint." Worth a return visit, but it's really the "only game in town" for beer lovers.

The establishment has 3 homegrowns: ale, lager, and esb. I found that the ale and lager although drinkable, were unremarkable. The bitter was pretty good. Our waitress was a complete ditz. Not sure what was on the menu or what she was presenting us. My lunch was not what I ordered, nor was my appetizer. Go for a drink not for food. Nice town, good Sunday drive.

I like this place, maybe it has something to do with how cute Chester is, but after the 4th of July road race (4 on the 4th) my friends and I down a few here. It is pleasant, maybe the beer tastes so good because we just ran in hot weather, but everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is good. Haven't eaten yet, but the beer sure is tasty.

Great selection of beers, over 50 on selection. Great service and excellent food. Not too ritzy but a great little establishment, even patio seating in the summer.
