This place is amazing. Last time I was there I had the best and worst beer I've ever had back to back, but there's so much to choose from that if you get a bad one try something else. The food is great, their meat and three is a can't-be-beat combo.

Great place to try new beer, very cool atmostphere, and AUTHENTICALLY excellent southern barbecue. Staff is always friendly and witty--they know when you'd like to chat, when you need a beer, how to suggest food YOU would enjoy because they talk to you. best restaurant experience I've had since moving to Boston with two exceptions: GUARANTEED WAIT for a table at dinner time (especially on the weekends) and the music is pretty loud most of the time.

24 taps and no crap! Had most of the stuff at some point or another so we had to try the strange ones - Concord Grape, Cisco Whale's Tail Pale, and Burgerbrau Dunkelweisse to name a few. Where else can you get Jever Pilsner and Unibroue Ephemere on tap!? If you can’t make up your mind they’ll spin the beer wheel for you.
The service was excellent - fast and friendly. The barbecue was the best I've had outside of Alabama. And the prices at Redbones are VERY reasonable. These are real blue-plate specials – lot’s of food and good.
All of the folks at the bar commingled and chatted with one another. There are no “air’s” here. It’s a friendly place with the kind of atmosphere where you just wanna put your feet up. I’m sorry I didn’t get the young lady’s name behind the bar, but she had a solid knowledge of the beers she was pouring.
I hope I can find the place when I go back and I'm driving...

If I lived closer to Redbones I would be in trouble: probably eating there twice a week. The line up of beers is exceptional. Micros and fine imports are abundant and fresh. The food is memorable and plentiful. The dining area is spartan, but friendly.

Where can you find a decently poured pint of guinness, an ever-rotating selection of micros & a southern rib joint with all the fixins? Look no further - minutes away from Davis Square stop on the Red line.

Yum, yum, and YUM! That's all that needs to be said about this place. It is definitely WORTH any wait! I take my husband for his birthday every year and we both love it!

Can't beat the ribs or the burnt ends (not on the menu). Good selection of beers, including some hard-to-find Belgians.

The beer menu changes every day, they post new beers dailey on there web site at http://www.redbonesbbq.com/ At the time of my visit they had some real nice draft Belgian's, not to mention some great draft Barley Wines as well, 5 in all! As part of a Barley Wine fest they had going on, Rogue, Old Crusty, several others of course Bigfoot from the left coast. It's quite simply a QUALITY beer lovers fantasy land! They also offer pretty good BBQ for the New England area anyway, plus its a heck of a lot closer than Texas or Kansas City! Check it out, it's a neat, funky joint worth your time.

Two words: pulled pork! Try to sit on the first floor at the BBQ pit (you'll get scraps of meat thrown at ya if your nice to the pit guys). Try the Ipswich Ale if you like strong hops!

The BBQ's a little on the wet n' sloppy side, but the beer selection can't be beat for the area. Plus, if you can't decide what to drink, they'll spin the "wheel of fortune".

A simply oustanding selection of beers on tap. It's different every time I go there, but the Pacific Northwest is always well represented. A rarity in New England.

They just don't know how to make ribs on the East Coast. Go to the Midwest and learn how it's done. Good selection of beer and fun atmosphere.

They have 24 constantly changing top quality brews on tap. Fun place to drink beer and eat barbacued food while listening to blues music. Try the beef brisket sandwich or barbacued chicken and ribs at the all you can eat buffet for a ridiculously low price.
