when i lived in fl. just walking distance from hoppers , i had found my spot . the staff there got to know me and what i liked to eat and drink so quickly , and they knew that i was alone waiting for my family to come down . they always treated me like i was part of their family and asked to see the newest pictures of my new born daughter ! i loved that place and miss it to this day, 14 years later ! glade to see its still around !

Started visiting Hopper's and Wes(the oner) in 1984, loved the food, people, and atmosphere. Moved away in 1994 but still manage to make a few visits a year. Gold Member and Loyal Follower, Jane & Steve Futch...Bradenton Fla.

I spent a month working in the Tampa area, and once I found Hoppers, my search ended. Excellent beer selection. They advertise 99+ bottles of beer available. The beer menu has over 160 items from around the world. The garlic wings are tasty but they don't know what HOT means. The Nachos were extremely large and tasty. My favorite place in Tampa.

While Hoppers is not a true brewpub (they do not brew on the premises) they have a FANTASTIC selection of brews from the U.S. and around the world (over 150 in stock at any given time) both on tap and in the bottle. The food is great and the atmosphere is very "Cheers-esque". If you are ever in this area of the Sunshine State, do look it up and drop by (its only a 20 min. drive from Tampa). Take it from me, I live about 1/2 mile from the front door. Bottoms up!!!
