A sign on the door dated Sept. 16 2006 told employees how to pick up their last check. Reopening was not a certainty. Hopefully either they do reopen (perhaps with a new brewmaster) or someone else uses the equipment to keep the brewpub concept alive in middle Georgia

Brew Pub was down because the boiler was down. The food was rather lackluster. I was hoping we'd finally found a good place to dine in Macon. Next time, we'll go to Long John Silver's.

Okay, they were down to four beers on tap with a promised sample of 6 beers. A standard light, a red a so-called wheat and an IPA. As noted before, it is the only game in town so there apparently is no need for them to put much more effort into it. The steaks were quite good so may return for a steak and will drink the beer, but won't go out of my way just to drink the beer.

The first beer was very very flat. The waittress looked at us as if we were crazy. The next beer was mediocre. Food sucks, unless you like mediocre steak places with the same predictable food.

Because it is one of the only choices in Macon, you have to go. Overall the beer was plain. It was nothing special. But it was brewed fresh on the premises. The food was decent, nothing special. I have to say that I had a good time because it was Pirate day, so the staff was all saying "Yar!" and calling us "Landlubbers!" It could have been worse, but it certainly couls have been better.

These guys that gave negative reviews don't know what they're talking about and are goobers. I've been to a lot of similar restaurants, but this one takes the cake. I have been stuck in Macon for work several times. In the future when I stay there I will hit up TCC.

I found the beers to lack any body. No aromas, little to no hops in the PA and IPA. Now I must say the Red and the Stout were acceptable but not exceptionable. I am not sure what they were trying to accomplish with the wheat beers but water has a better taste.
Sorry to be so harsh, but after their sampler I had to leave to find something good to drink and eat.
Time to look for a New Brew Master.

The food was Ok, but nothing special. The beers all were watered down and lacking in flavor for any style. I ordered a sampler tray of their beers. There were 5 beers. They brought me a tray with 5 shot glasses on it. Most of the shot glasses were less than half full, not really enough to even get a taste of the beers. For this they charged me $8.95! I'm used to at least getting kissed before a good screwing! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else for beers.

Cheap pints during happy hour (.99), as well as half-priced appetizers. Good beers but the atmosphere is lacking.

Pretty good stuff for Macon. Had a dandy little stout on my last visit. Again, this would not be Denver or Portland class, but it is way better than most of the brewpubs in Atlanta. Right off I-75, stop in going to/from Florida.
