We used to love this place and visited it weekly. After 2 consecutive poor experiences last year, we took it off of our dining out list. After reading a good review in the Tustin Weekly, we decided to give it another go. What a bad idea! Arrived at 5:15 on a Friday and were advised by the Greeter to pick any table in the half empty place. After 15 - 20 minutes, we asked him if we should go up to the bar and order since no one had approached our table. He advised us a waitress would be right over and then called to her to acknowledge us. She gave him a dirty look, continued her conversation and then walked away in the other direction! What an insult and lack of service. We walked out and told the greeter that this was unacceptable as well as insulting. We will never visit again. mj

Nice place right off the 5 and 55 freeways. They have a decent bottle list, only 5 brew on tap: golden ale was refreshingly hoppy and light, the hefeweizen was widmer style -- not my cuppa, pale ale and red and porter were all very good. They had a special rye beer that i didn't like much -- sweet and citrusy. I had a really good burger, it's worth a stop!

Thanks for the late nights and the memories. I have spent a lot of money at TBC and it has been well worth it.

Just a "tad" too much echo. Place does get noisey. As for the food...IT IS GREAT! Service? How many places have waitresses that take an order for six, ne ver write it down, and get it CORRECT the first time and LOOK GREAT? These gals are great and make the place what it is today! These "yokels" that talk about bad beer, lousey food and poor service are the first in line at McD's and complain the prices are too high. What a bunch of wimps! Let them stick with their 2,000 milligram sodium intake at Taco Bell, Burger King and all the other "high class" joints they frequent and leave room at the Brewery so the "right" clientel can get seated! Jason, keep up the good work!

Hey, did we go there on the same day? The food & service was LOUSY. For a minute there I thought I was at Chucky Cheese, with all the kids running around the place. Taco Bell has better food. My swordfish was still frozen. I will never return again, I too had to look for the waitress so I could get my check and get out of there. I would pass on this place

The food is not edible, and the service sucks. 2 out of 3 people in my party did not eat thier food, you'd think they'd take it off the bill when they noticed right? Nope. Had to find waitress to get my overpriced check. If it weren't for all the aging, balding, fat jocks of Tustin, this place would never last.

Only reason Im here everyday is for the regulars at the bar. The beer itself is nothing to write home about. It's the friends that matter. It's more like Cheers on the west coast, other than that, it's just another brewery with lousy service. A few of the bartenders but, other than that, don't waste your time.

The Stout is fantastic. The Red was also very tasty. Their onion rings are excellent and the "pork wings" were very good. The prices were reasonable. The only problem I had was, the bartender kept letting me run out of beer and it also seemed to take an unusually long time for the food. They weren't very busy at the time.

Here in the UK I can enjoy real ale from a wide range of independent brewers. When I visit the US I naturally seek out places that serve beer with body and flavour instead of the mass-produced, insipid stuff that gives beer a bad name. The TBC serves the best beer I've found in the States so far, especially the Blimp Hangar Porter. I'll keep looking for better brews though, and hopefully Pubcrawler will help with my quest!

Visited Tustin on a business trip the first week of January. The porter and the red was really good and very drinkable. A really nice surprise was the cost of the porter!
The food was a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good and all, but a pizza with more grease than cheese just doesn't sit well with my stomach.
I'll be back again to try their other beers and rest my mind while conducting business.

Took a while to get someone to agree to seat us in a 1/2 full place, although the waitress was nice. The beers were nothing to write home about (not much flavor). I ended up getting the "Blimp Hangar Porter" in my Growler, but the best rating I could give this beer is a 7 out of 10. On a positive note, this is a great place to watch NFL games.

Service was horrible, food medicore, and the sampler of beer just got gradually worse as I finished each cup. I waited over 5 minutes for a table, nothing was available to order (no beef, a beer ran out), and service beyond medicore. One of our group members had to go fetch the waitress to order, and another had to be fetched for our bill at the end. We are never coming back.

Beer is very fresh and true to style -- American Pale and IPA honor the hophead in all of us. Food is average (Ahi Tuna was zero Ahi and all overdone tuna). Service was quite good. Atmosphere is great for sports fans/families/kids returning from that midday game. Nice place to catch some hoops and have some really good beer!

Pale Ale was very good, just the right amount of hops and a good malt/hops ratio. Red was weak and flat. Food was good, served fast and hot during a very busy Friday night.

Everytime I am in town, I visit the Tustin Brewing Co. The brewer Matt does and outstanding job on his beers. Their seasonals are always worth trying. The food and service are always great! I recommend this brewpub to anyone who loves beer and food!

And a giant projector screen for football!!!! Red hill red is my fav. along with the carne asada woodfries pizza!!! where else can you get all that? Hot servers to.

The beers at Tustin are consistant - and good. With a selection ranging from a light ale (read Bud) to a porter, there should be something for everyone. The usuals are (1) light ale, (2)hefe, (3) pale, (4) red ale, (5) porter. The specials can be an IPA or a pilsner. The pils was very good. Great sports on TV and a super crew behind the bar. And if that isn't enough, they were kind enough to add a wireless internet connection so you can work, drink, and eat lunch all at the same time - in fact, I'm sitting at their bar, writing this, in real time! All-in-all, a great local.

Their brewmaster left. The new guy changed the recipe for the porter. It doesn't taste anything like the original. Unpleasant, actually. Luckily the pale ale and red are still good.

Just visited the brewery after a great beer tasting event at Beverages and More! up the road. The IPA was great! Also had the American Pale and it was very good, too. This was my third visit to TBC and each time I go the beer seems to get better. They have a great selection and usually have a cask conditioned on tap. The food was great. The philly cheese steak was top notch, one of the best I ever had. Keep up the good work and keep those "hoppy" beers flowing!
