Stop in and chat with Norman Horn, the owner, or Uva Boer, the brewer. For that matter, chat with one of the cheerful servers. They will give it to you straight and honest. The IPA is fabulous (could use a few more IBUs) and the Inebriator Stout is excellent. The hefeweissen is OK for an American wheat beer. Great service, good food (big quantity), fabulous beer, and superb service. I highly recommend this establishment to all.

Is a great secret that not a lot of people know about. The beers are top notch and the food is also decent. Whenever Im in the area I stop in for a cask iron brew or a nice porter. Would be more popular in a better area (tempe)

I have visited the brewery. Tap room is closed. My understanding is that they plan to open a restraunt and pub on Camelback Rd. and about 5th St. as early as October. I have found Sonora on tap at The Pub at the American Graduate School of International Management. The Porter is excellent and the Amber is great too.

I have visited the brewery, but on off peak times. They are a basic brewery with a tap room located in an industrial area near Glendale, AZ. I plan on visiting the tap room, but the location is not very desirable or convienent for happy hour. Although I can see getting a group of friends together to check it out would be worth the drive. Mostly tasted their selections by purchase from retail stores. The owner was very gracious and allowed me a couple of samples when I just dropped in one afternoon. Look forward to seeing more of their selections on the shelf.
