One of the more well-established micros in Eastern Canada, McAuslan produces many products, some under the St-Ambroise name, others under the Grifon name. The St-Ambroise beers are the more characterful. The Pale Ale is well balanced with a dry, crisp bitterness, the Oatmeal Stout is one of the best interpretations of the style i've tasted in the East. Both really soar when served on draught. An altogether excellent brewery.
