Based on reviews, going to visit Climax on the weekend but why the need to 'dis' on Weyer? Dan may not be the most personable guy but the beer is Not the brewer. Not a bad product comes out of there- sounds like the same is true for Climax. Looking forward to it....

Just attended the 10 th anniverary Pig Roast at the Climax Brewery itself. Much better than Weyerbacher,Dave Hoffman really knows his beer.
Now in Pennsylvania ,,Climax is available from Stockertown Beer dist. If you can't find it nearby tell your Beer store to get it from them.

The beer is AWESOME! Who gives a damn what the personality of the brewer is like. Do you ask who baked your Twinkie before you eat it? I'd kill to have this beer put in six packs instead of the growlers they use now.

I've been on the tour of the brewery. It's a brewery, but the beer is some of the' best bar none. The ESB is the drinkingest beer ever and the porter is a real treat. I grab whatever they make when I can find it.

This is the best beer made today, hands down. When you first taste the cask IPA (available at Andy's) you are hooked forever. Other beers are outstanding as well. Try the growler if you can't find it on tap. Hoping to have some at my wedding later this year!

This father and son brewery make some excellent beers. I tried their Cream Ale at Andy's Corner Bar - a fantastic example of the style. Now if only I could find their growlers of beer in some liqour stores...impossible to find in my neck of the woods.

I was given a tour of the brewery by the owner.He seemed knowledgable & friendly. He gave out samples of all his beers including an ass whipping Belgium Abbey Double.Comments - Take the tour.
