Nice little place to stop, get the impression that they are a little hurtin' considering that they only brew one of their own----but it is good, tasted like a darker amber

There must be new management this year, the service and menu were excellent and the selection of several local brews is a nice addition. Add the great music, ski videos and trail maps, pool table and game room -- and the waitstaff seemed happy to be here. Nice to be able to throw back a few great beers just a few minutes from Okemo. Hey, what happened to the bear over the fireplace??

Unfortunately, this brewpub has chosen to offer only one of its own beers, a pale ale. The other brews offered are from other brewers. The IPA formerly offered was a hophead's dream. Now there's little reason to go back.

No problem with the selection but I could only had one, which wasn't so hot; the porter.

There were five beers offered when I was there a great pale ale, an I.P.A. that was very hoppy and tasted great, a porter that was smooth, a good brown and a scotch ale that was excellent. I did get to try their new stout that was still in the conditioning tank but it tasted excellent. They had a good sized summer menu with good pub fare on it tasted quite good but their head chef comes back full time in november with a full menu that was excellent last winter and I expect the same this coming ski season. Great beer and food, what more can you ask for.

Stopped here last fall on a VT brewpub tour. Cool place, horrible food, bland beers. Stop in but don't expect much.

Brewpub moved to present location one year ago. Much larger & nicer. New Chef this season & new menu added in December, food is excellent. They offer 1/2 gallon "growlers" of their ale to go!

Cozy place. Decent brews, but limited selection. Good pub food. I visited in the summer, but I hear it is very popular during ski season.

Visited on 6/16/01 and 6/17/01. This place apparently only closed for a few months in 1999 while they moved from Ludlow to Cavendish, a few miles down the road. The pub is cozy with a wooden bar. The regular selection of microbrews is a Pale, and IPA, a Brown, and a Porter. The Porter was a bit light and somewhat inconsistent on the two visits. The Brown was pretty good. The IPA was very strongly hopped, and good. The Pale was fairly decently hopped and was very good. As for the food, we only tried the wings and the chicken fingers, which were both good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Ludlow, VT, area.

Went there this past weekend while skiing @ Okemo. The new location is about 5 min. outside town on 103. The IPA and Porter were pretty good. The Brown was a bit disappointing. Good food and live music.

Hey everyone, this place is back in business in a new location, much cleaner, much better food and good beers. Discard all the previous reviews, these guys fixed their issues and did it right.

Out of Business for a good reason ! Poor service, Poor food, So-So beer. Come on just because you're near an awesome ski area(Okemo) doesn't make your business awesome.

Sorry but this place strikes me as "dive " that makes their own beer. Even the glasses were dirty the day I visited

I've been in several times. The beer is consistantly great, and the service is friendly and attentive even when it's busy. But DON'T EAT THE FOOD!!!!! (Unless, of course, you really like instant potato flakes and soup out of a can.)

We just finished a 60 mile bike ride and the brewer opened early for us. (He must have felt sorry for us when we pressed our faces to the window.) Great selection, but you had better be a "hop head"! "Total Disability" for ever!
