My wife and I just stopped by this place last weekend during our own little pub crawl. It was great. She rated it the best place of the afternoon and I could not disagree. The food was excellent and there was an terrific beer selection. We left happy :)

As many have commented service sucks, some bar staff are obnoxious, the lines stink, the place stinks, the restrooms stink worse but the brew selection is nice. The front patio tables are excellent.

So So So So Lousy Lousy Lousy
The place is smoky, loud, and generally smells bad. There is no service to speak of, and what passes for service staff is more surly than polite. It is difficult to imagine why this place has hung on all this time since it is not really possible to carry on a conversation because of the racket inside or to get past the smell to enjoy whatever beverage or makeshift food you might be trying.

everything is fine aside from the fact that they do not provide table service. if you don't mind waiting in a line that can take 10-20 minutes to get to the bar for your next brew, then you shouldn't have any problems with this place. otherwise, it's a real pain in the ass. i was there at 6pm on a weekday, my experience would have probably been better during an off-time, but why bother going when it's dead? i marked these guys off my list for just these reasons.

Cozy and dark like a pub should be...very friendly and helpful staff... quiet 'tween 1:30 and 4:00...one of the few bars open early in the morning if you want to drink your breakfast (they have food too)
