They don't brew anymore. The brewery equipment was sold last week. The last batch of IPA is still available, but you better hurry. It's too bad they didn't have more people interested in the craft beer. I'll miss it.

The US Border Brewery & Cantina does everything well. I had the Devil's Hopyard IPA and the El Chupacabra Bock. The IPA was outstanding. The bock was good, but had a roasty taste, rather than the smoother taste that I associate with a bock. They only had four of the house beers on tap. A golden and a red, in addition to the IPA and bock that I tried. I was happy to see some well selected guest taps, including Paulaner, Anchor Steam and Rogue. The food was very good. The salsa that came with the chips was some of the best that I have ever had. It had good heat to go with a sweet, fresh tomato flavor. The steak quesadilla was delicious. This place is well worth the drive.

The beer here ranks with the best brewpub beer I've ever had anywhere - the brewer knows how to make a hoppy pale ale... they also have a cask-conditioned ale that is superb. I would recommend this place to anyone that appreciates well-made beer.

I've lived in Atlanta for two years, but hadn't tried this place yet. I am a homebrewer and I love beer. I thought the pale ale ranked up there with the best I've ever had - it was that good. I was really impressed. Also tried the ESB (I think the called it something like an ASB.... like, for American Special Bitter)... it was very good. But the pale ale was something special. I left thinking that the brewer really knew what he was doing.

This used to be one of my favorite places, but the beer has gotten worse. The stout as a previos reviewer wrote definitely needs some work.

One of the best IPA's I have ever had. The stout was terrible. Almost all of the beers are excellent except the stout which is consistently bad- overcarbonated and flavorless

The IPA and the belgian Dubbel were great-one of the best IPA's in the country. The brand new stout didnt live up to the same high stanbdards as the other beers.

I am in complete agreement with the review below. The beers are fantastic. Living in Portland, I am quite familiar with the firkin beers from Bridgeport. The cask conditoned amber is excellent, and I'm usually not a big amber fan. The IPA and Belgian ale were also fantastic. I think this place brews the best beers in the Atlanta area, and is much better than John Harvard's. The only downfall to this place is the service, who knows nothing about beer. If you can put up with poor service and really love great beer, come here. For a great selection of draft beers -around 300!, visit TACO MAC in Cumming Georgia. Andy and Pete at Taco Mac in Cumming are very knowledgeable about beer unlike this establishment. If you really want great beer you got to leave the state of Georgia and visit hop heaven- the state of Oregon.

They have an excellent IPA, a wonderful Belgian Dubbel, and a great cask ale. The beers are top notch, unfortunately the service isn't. If you can put up with slow,(sometimes rude) servers who know little about beer then you will enjoy this place as the beer is your reward.

This was the worst of 4 brewpubs I visited in Atlanta. The beers were o.k. but the atmospher is bad and the servers know very little about beer. Go to Taco Mac in Cumming(over 200 beers on tap) or John harvards for a much better time.

This place is not for beer lovers. the beer is average but the service is ridiculous. The wait staff is a bucnch of little kids who know nothing about beer(let me stress nothing). our experience here was very poor and considering the beer and food is average dont waste your time. I agree with the last reviewer who said go to John Harvards.

Doesn't compare to John Harvards brewhouse in Roswell or Buckhead. The beers are fairly good but the service is a joke. They have little high school kids who know nothing about beer working there. I asked our waitress what beer they had on cask and she replied I don't know what you mean but people tell me the beers are pretty good here. Don't bother going there unless you have no other choice.

Arrived just after closing, but was allowed to hang out for a few since I was a weary traveler from New England, doing a little GA brewery tour. The bartender couldn't have been nicer - went out of his way to make me feel welcome even as he was cleaning up the joint. The Gold was a typical pilsner, fairly tasty; The Bock was excellent; the Stout was a bit light in body though nice in taste; the IPA was very hoppy and delicious, and the cask IPA was even better, with mellower hops, delicious taste. Hope to visit again long before closing.

This is way north of Atlanta, in a Kroger shopping strip, and worth the trip. Had a very good IPA, Stout, and Strawberry on my last visit. A pleasant surprise in a relatively weak beer town.

Good beer, fun atmosphere. Brewmaster recently retired; there's a new man on the job. He is performing admirably. Atlanta's best salsa!
