I loved the place when it was the Bayou, and they have continued to deliver. The service is hit or miss since most of the employees that I have met are college students at nearby Gonzaga. Some suck and some are great. The best thing going is that the owners of Dry Fly distilling hangout at the bar and dont mind giving tours of their place. The clams are garlicy awesome and the burgers rival the big burger places.

Hands down the best Fish and Chips we've ever had. Great fish tacos too. And the beer was great too. Very fun atmosphere.

Their 12th Anniversary Imperial IPA is a hop heads dream. Good malt balance with smack you upside the head hop aroma and a yummy hoppy finish, this one will have you burping hops. Add the 8% ABV and you have a nice "finish the day on a happy note" beer.

Where 10 is best, their Indian Pale Ale is 10/10. The Blueberry Creme beer is 6/10 (too sweet for my taste). The Summer Wheat beer is 1/10. For food: fish & chips 9/10, cheesecake 9/10. Ambience: 8/10 (adjacent to the Spokane River).

I adore their Blueberry Creme Ale... It is so yummy! The Chocolate Dunkel is also really good. Had some of the best hot wings here too, they were HUGE! and tasted awesome!

Wonderful beer. Generous samples. The Chocolate Dunkel and IPA Winter Brew were 2 of the best ever. Calimari very tasty and one of the best restaurant steaks I've ever tasted. TVs too small, though.

Not a great joint but they do have their own beers. The menu is gourmet and pricey but good; service was tolerable at best.

The nitrogen based porter was my favorite beer at the location. The food was good but fairly expensive; service was lacking. Overall the three beers I tried seemed to lack uniqueness; pretty standard "microbrew" flavors.

Northern Lights moved in Apr 2002 next to the Riverview Thai Restauant. The new telephone number is: (509) 242-BREW. A Micro Brewery with a full Restaurant including Beer/Wine sales (Closed Sundays). Entertainment includes sports television and weekend live music. Several of Northern Lights Microbrews are on tap at any one time with monthly and seasonal changes and additions to the menu.
You gotta see it. The place is fantastic and the beer is still as good as ever.

Chocolate Dunkle is nice, malty, dark beer. Crystal Bitter has good NW Hop flavor... Hop-Heads should like it.
