A great selection of great brews. I did not catch from the reviews below that they do not serve food - just bags of chips & nuts. They did, however, encourage me order something for delivery and eat at the bar.

I think this was my favorite brewery stop on our tour of Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins (tied with New Belgium). Beautiful little tasting room in downtown Denver. They had a great selection on tap when we visited. I was most impressed with the rice brewed beer (Samurai), The Fresh Hop IPA, the Hercules Double IPA (which was very similar to the Foothills Brewery Double IPA) and the Yeti Stout (probably my favorite). I could have spent the weekend sitting in this tasting room. Great Divide is a must stop in Denver. I can't wait to go back.

Great Divide produces some really nice beers and their taproom is a great place to try them. Samurai is a nice rice-based beer with a unique flavorful taste. You must have the Oak-Aged Yeti - as good as Yeti is by itself, the oak-aging makes it better. As far as I'm concerned, oak-aging is somewhat akin to cheese and frying - both make all aspects concerned taste even better and the Oak-Aged Yeti does not fail to continue the trend.

Those of you who don't live in Colorado - sorry. Move here to be able to taste beer before it's traveled thousands of mile. We have so many breweries which rate way above that horrible descriptor awesome. When breweries make beers better than any in the world, awesome just doesn't cut it. There are quite a few breweries which provide extreme beers as part of their selection - Great Divide is one. I drink for taste - so from moderate to wild, Great Divide has them all. My major complaint about their brewery is that I always forget to stock up on their winter beer. Each year they double production - so I know it will be there but too many beer geek's buy it and I they sell out before I can get my unfair share. This year - Brain Dunn - triple production - no excuses damn it!

the beer, which is essentially all they serve here, is excellent. Had the IPA and the Belgium wheat. Both were very good. But watch out for the Belgium wheat - it kicked my ass! I like the small minimal space, but even with just a few boisterous people, it can get quite loud.

Don't miss this brewery tour. No "show up at 4pm" here, just give a call ahead, come by, get a personal tour with a cold sample in hand. Got to talk with the brewer, talk with anyone you want, and continue to fill your glass with excellent big beers.
They were in the process of setting up a tasting room.

I had some time to kill in Denver so called and arranged a tour. I've had some of these fine brews at home in North Carolina so wanted to check out the source. I wasn't disappointed. I was given a personal tour by one of the staff and offered all the free samples I wanted. These beers are all world class brews and worth seeking out. The oak aged Yeti stout was an especially unique product. Definitely buy these beers if they're available in your area, and don't visit Denver without a stop at Great Divide. They are in the process of expanding their brewing capacity and are adding a tasting room.

Wow! I stopped at Great Divide during a trip to the Great American Beer Festival, and I must say that this brewery ranks as one of the finest in the country. My group was given the brewery tour, as well as all the samples that we cared to try. I can honestly say that almost every beer I sampled was World Class. I wanted to stay here for more beers rather than attending the GABF tasting session that evening.

This is what I expected from a trip to Denver. What an improvement over the previous night's trip to Wynkoop. They gave an interesting and informative tour with a great tasting of a variety of beers at the end. Oak Aged Yeti RIS and Hercules IPAx2 were EXCELLENT. Great Divide is in the company of elite breweries such as Stone, Dogfish Head, Founders, and Rogue.

Unbelievable place. Just a small brewery in a warehouse, but the brewer Bernie and another guy, I forget his name, showed us around and gave us all the samples we could handle, which was pretty cool for 10:00 AM. (It was noon back home in Ohio). We only tried the biggies, like Hercules double IPA, Old Ruffian barleywine, and the best of all, Yeti, oak-aged imperial stout. This is the best brewery in all of Colorado, which says a lot and a top 5 brewery in America.

Congratulations to the staff at Great Divide. They received a Silver medal for their Hibernation Ale at the GABF.

What a find. We stopped in for the tour. Very laid back place. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We started by trying all the beers (5?) on tap. All were very good. We also tried the Maverick IPA and Russian Stout in bottles. They were also very good. We then took a tour of the facility. We were given a sample of a beer they were aging made with Fresh hops. These hops were picked, overnighted and in the boil in less than 24 hours. I found this beer to be light and refreshing with good hop character. We were also fortunate enough to try 2 or 3 "vintages" of the Hibernation ale. They too were all spectacular.
A must stop while in Denver. Keep up the great job.

I found their Porter to be sour! The IPA to be average. There Denver Pale Ale (DPA) was more like an ESB. Balanced in maltiness and Hops. Tried their Buffalo Burger and found it to be dry. What you'd expect from this type of meat. The burger came sans sauce.

The Denver Pale Ale was excellent as was the Arapahoe Amber. Food was very good and the service was friendly, attentive & fast. Interesting location at the Denver Tech Ctr Marriott. A very "open" type of set-up; not "pub-like" at all. A different brewpub with great beer in an unusual location.

I, too, enjoyed the pub at the Marriott so this review speaks to that. The porter was awesome, the wheat was great too. My only disappointment was that I couldnt buy a growler to bring some home. Oh yeah, the wings were quite good too.

A great tour if you have the time. Wonderful beer. Their Arapahoe Amber and Hibernation Ale(when you can find it) are my favorites. I've bumped into the owners in "beer" stores. Great folks! If I could brew beer half as well...

All of the beers are terrific. Denver Pale Ale has to be my favorite beer, unless I'm in the mood for something dark and rich - then it's got to be a St. Brigid's Porter. Not a bad beer in the bunch. They also give really good tours.
