Barclay's is just a two block walk from the Rockridge BART station. It is a great bar. The selection of about 25 taps is heavy on local products. I was very happy to see the Moylander Double IPA from Moylan's, in Novato, on my last visit. This was a big beer and intensely hoppy. The food is great, too. I had a pork sandwich with cayenne mayo. It was perfect with the IPA. Four stars out of five.

Attracts some what of a yuppie crowd. cool semi underground feel and a simple layout. Not a place I would neccesarily make a special trip back to.

It's been nearly 3 years since I (or anyone else) reviewed Barclay's, so I just want to note that it is still an outstanding place. You can now even occasionally find a Belgian on tap! Next step towards perfection should be diaper changing tables in the restrooms.
