The beer selection is fairly decent, and they actually have a good Hard Cider. The service is a little hectic but friendly, and the crowd is great, just like being in a pub in Britain. Also, it is one of THE BEST places if you like to catch Premier League or World Cup football games.

The bartender can't tend bar to save their lives. When pouring a pitcher, they stand it up underneath the tap and let it pour into the pitcher thus creating a head of froth that takes up about 3/4 of it. This leaves the bear completely void of any carbonation. Half the time the bartenders are too busy talking to the jocky patrons to pay attention to who needs a drink. The pub quiz I attended on Thursday was terrible. Shabbily put together with ridiculously easy pop culture questions. Needless to say I will not be returning to this poor excuse of an English pub any time soon...

Right across from the Toronado, this place has a broad selection of imports and fewer micros than its neighbor. They don't seem to enforce SF's no smoking ordinance. Good for some, bad for others. Service can sometimes be a little on the shaky side, but is a lot better when the owner is around. All around, a great beer selection.
