You must be talking about Chelsea! Billy's definately has a lot to work on in the service area, very poorly picked staff to represent this place.

We've been going to Billy's for about 7 years now and after our last visit, we have to say that it's pretty much gone downhill, and actually hit rock bottom. For at least the past year that we've been going in, the service has been terrible. We used to love to go for happy hour, but lately it seems like we always have to wait a long time before someone comes around to take our order in between beers. During our last visit, we went with a group and had to continuously wait to have our drink orders taken. My husband finished a beer then waited about 20 minutes before a server came up and asked how we were doing. We ordered another round for everyone at the table and when everyone was done with that round, we waited about another 15-20 minutes before anyone came back. We ordered food, but had an issue - no big deal, but we wanted to bring it up to the server's attention. She wasn't very receptive to our comments - actually she seemed a little ticked off and she said she would let the manager know. The manager comes up and his demeanor right off the bat was hostile. We listened to what he had to say and also told him what our concern about the food was. It was obvious he didn’t want to hear what we had to say, so we let it go. When a person in our party tried to talk to the manager again a little while later, he flipped out and said that we needed to pay our bill and leave. We paid the bill and as we were leaving, he had the bouncers follow us out like we were a group of thugs or something. The main point was that NO ONE at our table at any time was hostile or confrontational to their staff. It was very disappointing because we’d been going there for so long and it used to be one of our favorite places. The bottom line now is that customer service on all levels is apparently very low on the totem pole for this establishment and because of that, we will not be going back – too bad, because we used to like it so much.

So my story is basic, I work in the film industry and was out scouting for a place to have a film premier. Last call was coming and they kept telling us we had a few mins. Thats OK, we only had 2 beers it was 2 guys and a girl (us) being really nice and considerate. The bouncer which he thought was a WWF star and couldn't be touched asked for our beers. No prob we started drinking fast trying to finish them.I looked up and these 2 girls at the bar had full beers and no one had asked them anything. So i asked him politely when you pick there beer up come back around and get ours....well that was his he flipped out grabbed my beer threw it on me, and still i was being the bigger man and didn't say anything. We got up to leave an i went up to the bar to clean myself with napkins and he told me "GET THE F@#CK OUT OF HERE AND CLEAN YOURSELF SOMEWHERE ELSE!!". So we were escorted out like we were criminals when we were just minding our business for the WHOLE 2 BEERS WE HAD! I stiill shook their hand, being the polite raised Texan i am, and on the way out they told me F#@ck off and have a good night!. Bsaically i was scouting a place for a movie premier with 100+ people/ THE ASSUMPTION OF THIS IS SCREW BILLY'S LONG BAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. And tried to call management and they all banded together even though the video he reviewed clearly showed it, and told me "it was only a little bit of beer...well that tells me he seen it being poured on me and small or large amount was not right. Then he preceded to hanging up on me..THATS NOT PROFESSIONAL OR ANY WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER.

Great place, Just don't argue over the bill. I was in there a while ago and was overcharged on my bill. When I tried to resolve this issue, a bouncer started a fight with me. He lept over the bar and charged me. I hit him in the chest then another bouncer charged me from behind and knocked me unconcious. While I was laying unconcious the first bartender proceded to stomp on my ribs. According to an eyewitness from my apartment complex both bouncers were rushed to the rear of the bar. When I came to minutes later I came to my feet and left the bar. A week later I had to go to St. Josephs hospital on Montgomery because I couln't lay down and I was coughing up blood. I had two broken ribs. So never argue about the bill, just let them rob you, and never come back.

This place is falling apart! Thought there was no smoking in NM and yet it is all over this bar, YUCK! Way over rated! Much better places to go for sure. The service was so bad and the food is less than most bar food. DO NOT waste your time or money!

Great place. Beer is awsome, food is decent. Atmosphere is the best. Lot's of good scenery. Service was good. If you haven't been check it out.

Billy's is a great place to meet people, have a few beers, eat some delicious steaks or jambalaya, and play some pool.Now that the smoking ban is in effect, they are one of the few bars you can smoke at, on the patio - customer service is pretty good even on a busy night!

ive been going there for years and i love there atmosphere food, drinks an all accept for one thing, the service is bad and has always been pretty bad, but i still go back and theres nothing i can do but smile. mabye one day the servers will too.

Nice place to hang out on a warm, sunny afternoon. They open the back room to convert it into a "beer garden". VG beer selection, seemed like the best selection in town. The place gets a little smoky inside. Food looks like standard pub grub, but their chili cheese fries sure were good! There is some serious eye candy among the staff here too! During the week the pub was relaxed, but I hear it gets crazy on the weekends

I go to Billy's at least once a week. I have had great service on most days. Make sure to go when Dee is working. She remembers the way you like your drink and always has a friendly attitude. Not to mention, the $.25 hot wings with a nice cold arrogant bastard makes for the perfect night.

Heads up, guys!! Shannon is gone! She and her hubby headed out to Texas. Still alot of eye candy, but no more sexy Shannon and those 36d's. Oh,well. Maybe the service wont slip even farther down the pipe.

Billy's Long Bar is truly a place for eye candy...gals of all flavors work there. Be prepared to drool and sport a buldge in your britches, but as for the service...well, I wish you luck my brothers.. Some gals are great..Shannon, Lindsay, and a few more, but also alot of bad servers, so enjoy the tight jeans, and busting out cleeavege, and pray that Bubbles comes back to bring another round before the Cubs win the world series...

I was in town for other business and watched some football with 90 Schilling on tap and an excellent chicken sammy. Played some pool and had a good time. It wasn't that busy, so don't know about the wait staff, my barkeep was perfect.

Within the last 8 months, i have probably been there about 15 times and have had terrible service all but maybe 4 times. You are better off sitting at the bar, bartenders are great, the wait staff sucks. Kept complaining and asking for tip money, pathetic

Always a great time. Huge selection of tap beer, clean lines and great service. The people are the best, the crowd is as diverse as the beer selection. Harley riders to three piece suites, college co-ed’s to shift workers. By far the best bar staff of any pub I have ever frequented.
