Old Lehigh is closed. A shame, I really liked the idea of a brewery run part-time by a bunch of plumbers, and they made some excellent beer.

Old lehigh's Naked Pale Ale is the best thing I've ever tasted! Their reformulated Amber Lager is great tasting, and smooth! Also their Buckwheat Honey Oatmeal Stout is a very nice stout, not too assertive but far from thin! The new brewmaster is doing a great job. He has brought Old Lehigh's products from, questionable to Top Notch quality!

My opinion of Olde Lehigh is based mainly on their Cream Ale, which has unfortunately been reduced to a seasonal status. I think it is the finest cream ale around, period.

I tried their IPA at the Stoudt's Invitational Beer Festival on June 12th and thought it was, by far, the worst beer of the night. It should be 'back to the drawing board' for this shameful concoction. Blahhh.

Old Lehigh's lager is average at best, but their Cream Ale & Raspberry Cream Ale are very good. The Hop Head IPA is very good but not a great IPA. However, the shelf-life can be short if you buy a case that's been in the store for a while.
