A cool place in a cool neighborhood. That is, if you like your BPs in the style of, say, Gritty McD's in Portland, Maine, or Arbor in Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you want new and shiny like a Rock Bottom, this ain't it. By the way, my food rating is based on a couple of veg items only, which were pretty average. Maybe some of the stuff for meat-eaters is great.

Killer local brew pub. no t-shirts, no friggin' gift shoppe - just dank brew. great outdoor beer garden in back during the summer, dank woody inside all year. LSD, cream, are a few favs. very tasty hoppy selections, always fresh, and resonable. have a few casks as well. all the food i've had has been above average too. definitely recommend to visitor and local alike. have a pint night on monday - make sure to have a ride home.

Great beer. I had their porter and ipa which were very good. Atmosphere has a little to be desired. Great place for beer though. It was recommended by the tugboat bartender.

Fun place, great patio, always a fun time. Can be a little loud at times but that's part of the charm. Their food is probably better than most and most of the beers are really good.

A small, intimate place with a relaxed atmosphere. Almost coffee shop-like, very friendly staff, and plenty of other local microbrews on tap. The Winter Ale was dark in color, not heavy but robust in taste. 12/15/03 3pm

Many many beers. Not too many brewpubs brew more than 4-5 brews, but these guys brew up to 10. C-Note was my fav. Owner/brewer was my server therefore sevice was excellent. Panties on the wall adds to the ambiance. Food wasn't anywhere near as bad as previous reviewer claimed.

The service is top notch, the beer is great, and i feel the food is better than most of the "brew pubs" very consistent. I can't wait to see their new pub.

First off, my SO wants everyone to know that the food sux. When you pay $7 for a plate of nachos, it better not have 7-11 fake cheese spoo all over it. I have to agree with her for a different reason. My jerk pork was the most tasteless Jerk I've every tasted. Otherwise, the beer was good and the patio was beautiful. I'd go back for another beer anytime, but I'll eat my meals elsewhere.

nice place, i would definatly go back, probably on a monday to catch their 2 dollar draughts. i had the c-note when i was there, i did not find it as hoppy as their Centennial IPA. i also had their Lompoc Strong Draft which was a perfect combination of malt and hops. their bitter was also quite nice. the service was very nice, our dogs even got some biscuits

I would continue to go back time and time again if their only beer on tap was C-note. It is a great beer. Agree that you shouldn't take the family; in fact, the sign on the front door says "No Minors". I am married so this is no concern of mine but you should sit facing the window for the nice view that "walks" by.

C-Note Imperial Pale (made with many types of hops with a slightly different taste than IPA’s) was simply excellent and their best beer by far. Lompoc Strong Draft and seasonal 69 Munich Lager were both OK/interesting. The brown, golden ale, and IPA were all decent versions of each. Sockeye Cream Stout was poor. Seasonal Outhouse Special Bitter was just bad in a watery, skunky kind of way. The chipolte buffalo wings were great. The place has a nice, cozy neighborhood bar feel with a look that is more interesting than most neighborhood bars. Smoking is allowed but luckily no one did while I was there.

This place has to be a front for some drug ring. Cheap beer and no food. Great dive in an otherwise all too trendy neighborhood. I haven't been there since the remodel, but me hopes it is still a place I can sit on a Saturday night. Cheap pool, too.

Great beer bar, just remodeled adding patio & deck -- at least 7 tables out back. Kitchen is tiny, but looks clean & new, well organized. Basic pub menu, burgers seem good value, salads spendy.
They brew Bald Guy Brown ale, IPA, Outhouse ESB, #69 dark lager, stout, and "LSD" -- a strong ale (typically about 8%abv, only 6.? for summer). Guest taps include Terminal Gravity, Hair of the Dog, Younger's Special Bitter (by Rogue), and other great beers. Also 2 industrial lagers & cider, full bar.

Not a great place to go if your really hunger or taking your wife, girlfriend or family out. But a great place to a good time. They are very friendly and went out of there way to make me feel welcome.

Not the place to go if you expect formal dining, you aren't going to find it here. But if you want a great beer, maybe a burger and funky, comfortable surroundings, this here's the spot.
