One of the best Scottish pubs in Chicago; a very unassuming place - rather small - but comfortable. One of those typical pubs you would find in Glasgow or Aberdeen, a place where Groundskeeper Willie could call home.

The sort of Scotish and English beer they sell just isn't meant to be poured from that kind of tap and as a consequence bears little resemblance to a pint of ale in the UK which is drawn by hand pump directly attached to the cask. Don't think that what they serve is a proper pint of 'bitter'

A quaint haven for Scottish food and beer. A small selection of beer, but a good one. The food was great and enjoyed several meals there. Looks like a pub you might find in the UK. In summer they seem to have an outdoor beergarden. Must be nice! Try this one for the meals as well as the beer, you won't go wrong!

Stopped in on a Saturday Night, there is plenty of waitstaff here (which is required according to the sign out front). There was a wait for the smoking section which was in the front of the bar. We did not eat as it was pretty late. They focus on Scotch's here, so if you are a Scotch Hunter you will love this place. 6-8 Taps, tried the Young's Winter Warmer and a Bellhaven's both were fresh. The had Specked Hen and a few others in Bottles and Duvel for those that need something Belgian. The wait staff was very pleasant and checked back often. Nice quiet place to sit back with a glass and have a conversation. Now I can say I've been to a Scottish Bar.

This bar has a Scottish theme. They have more varieties of scotch than I've ever seen in one place. They have some good British Isles beers that are hard to find on tap, such as Fullers London Pride, John Courage, McEwan's Export, etc. The food has a Scottish theme but is basically American in origin. (sorry, no haggis here). Best thing I like about this place is that you can go there on a Friday night and still hear yourself talk. Great hang-out place for the mellow.
