I went there on one of their "family style" days where the menu was pre-determined. Food had excellent taste and the beer selection is good.
If you're a bit redneck, this probably isn't a place you'd enjoy being in.

We went there ast night for the first time. We had a great time. The atmosphere is interesting and different but comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The beer list had something for everbody and a nice array from IPAs to stoudts. The bottles did not leaving you wanting anything. Foos menue was not very long but what they had was great and could be paired well with a beer. I hope this place stays arround I could see this being a once a week happy hour stop.

When in the strip, drop by here. This place and the mad max chain is something to be excided about, with the closing of all the brewbupbs near the strip , this place is essential. Exotic food and local sesonal brews make it a must for me. The grilled tuna, rare on the inside with wasabe dressing was superb. Had it with a fresh 60 min IPA. The beer selection is loaded with Victory, Dogfish and Troegs products to name a few.

the beer selection is outstanding at kaya. i was here a few months ago and can only say that things how gone from great to even better. the beer selection ranges from belgians to craft beers and more. happy hour finds almost every type of alcohol at 1/2 off. if you haven't been here recently, you should give it a fresh look. this place continues to improve without becoming overly snobby!

I hadn't been to Kaya for several years. On a rainy Sunday, we stopped for a late dinner. The vegetarian-friendly menu designates such dishes with a "v", important considering some of the menu items are hard to discern by their description. I ordered the green curry, which was very spicy but good. The person with me ordered the fettucini pasta, which was excellent. We also split a tropas, which was also quite good. Our waiter was excellent, extremely attentive. We arrived close to closing, but were not hurried along. Parking in this area can be a problem, but this Sunday we found the area quiet and parked right outside. Since Kaya is part of the Big Burrito group, the beer selection is consistent with their Mad Mex restaurants, with a nice selection of micro drafts and bottles as well as a house "Big B" draft. Overall, a good experience.

Oh, and the food was excellent as well. Decent price and the Cuban (turkey, pork, etc.) sandwich was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

Nice cozy little place, set on the corner of Smallman and a side street. Easy parking out front. Great selection of beer. My last trip there had Arrogant Bastard and Dogfish Head Stout.

Kaya is part of the Big Burrito group that also owns the Mad Mex establishments.
Kaya is in the Strip District. Parking is hard to find and impossible without paying on the weekends.
Kaya's customers tend to be young professionals and there is a certain sophistication with the place.
The Carribean flavoured menu should keep you mouth needing drinks. They have an extensive stocked bar and is a safe place to always find Chimay.

Kaya has good food, a great location and a fairly good selection of brews. The theme is Carribean and atmosphere and dishes reflect this. The place is small, so expect to wait if you go during the weekend around dinnertime.

Had quite a few good Micro and Import beers on draft. I was suprised to get a pint of Bornem Double for only $2.50 during happy hour. Also any place that (still) has Thomas Hardy's can't be said to have a bad bottled selection.
