Barley's has a huge tap and bottle selection with a decent selection of local micros and German beers. It probably has too many American macros to qualify as a true "beer finders" pub but for this part of KC they do a good job.
The ribs were good too.

Large tap selection with a strong showing from local brewers. Definitely worth going to.

I reviewed a different Barley's location and meant to review this one. I don't know if things vary a lot between locations, but I only go to this one. My review: Wow, this place has a trillion taps! Beer heaven. I agree with the other reviewer, however, that they may have too many. If you order an odd, rarely ordered beer, it may be flat/old. It's worth asking before ordering if the keg is new or not. They even carry a lot of the local brews, like Freestate brews, which is hard to get outside Lawrence. Definitly worth checkin out!

99 taps of beer on the wall, 50% being Micros from the midwest. Large selection of bottled beer as well. IF THE Beer is not enough for you try a hand cut steak that is grilled to perfection over a live hickory grill. Homeade sausages, smokes cheeses, all dressing from scratch. This establishment is one of a kind with some of the best euye candy in Southern Johnson County!!

THIS and the other two locations ARE not breweries, they are tap rooms with an extensive tap selection that sadly does include all the macro brews. I would stick to the bottled selection as every time Ihave tried something on draft it seems to have an infection from the line. Bartenders and staff are not very knowlegable on the selections other than the standard specs (Pale, IPA etc).
