Old Chicago is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! How can you beat 110 beers and a fine selection of Italian American food??? I am about to complete my first world beer tour soon and can't wait to get my name on the wall of foam at the downtown location. I've been to a lot of their locations in Nebraska, Kansas and Idaho and this one here in downtown Lincoln has the best atmosphere out of any of them. To start off its a two story restaurant with two full size bars (thats 220 beers that are always ready to be flowed into a mug!). The staff is usually very good about keeping your drinks filled and food very hot. Last night was sort of an acception, we had a new waitress apparently and she took forever to get our drinks and couldnt remember 10 minutes later that their strawberry mix is out. It kind of left a sour taste in my mouth by the fact that it was suppose to be mine and my fiance's engagement party with our friends and the waitress took forever. Anyways, this place is exciting and full of life when its a Husker football day! Just blocks away from the stadium its a great place to go after a sweet victory!

Good Awesome! Good Good Good
This bar has an incredible selection of beer, highlighted by nice seasonal beers and a good selection of regional microbrews.

The franchise's menu is nice and they keep it current. The downtown bar is a nice, distintive location in an older part of town. Good atmosphere.

Definitely worth a try if you've never been there. If it's been awhile since you've gone, go back.

Very good selection of brews, but wish they would bring even more "micro-brews" in from near-by regions. It would be a refreshing change of pace from the regular domestics that take up way too much room in thier coolers. Most things on the menu are good. The World Beer Tour is a must.

The best part? Happy hour, M-Th 4-6, F-Sun, 10-12. Why? 2 dollar mini pizzas, wings, nachos, and cheesbread. Perfect for the poor college student.

I rarely give out Awesome ratings, but the Old Chicago has an impressive beer selection, both on tap and in bottles, with many regional beers being represented. The bartender was very helpful and attentive, allowing me to have some generous samples before choosing just the right beers for my evening of drinking.

Old Chicago is a regional midwestern chain that specializes in Chicago style (deep dish) pizza. The pizza is good and their selection of beers is excellent. They have dozens of microbrew beers available either on draft or in bottles.
