They do not brew at this location but only serve beers brewed at their other locations. They sometime also have good guest beers.

A lot of people really dont like this brewing company but I had a wonderful time. They offer two different samplers and all the beers we tried were good representatives of their style. Nothing stood out but thats okay too. When you brew for the masses sometimes you cant offer many standout beers. With my experiences with chain brews, this place is better then Gordon Biersch, Hops, and John Harvard's.

It's been my experience in Connecticut that nothing can touch Willimantic Brewing when it comes to great beer. Its latest victim? SBC of Branford. This was a nice place to visit on a rainy Saturday afternoon, but a fairly forgetable experience. I expect a true IPA to be ballsy in the hops department. Theirs was modestly hopped for the style and thus lacked any zing. The english pale ale was nice with hints of butterscotch and average to good body. I'd rate it a b-. The atmosphere is contemporary...a bit large and lacking in character in the bar area, but otherwise, interesting. And although the barmaid was young and curvey and reason enough to stop in, this brewpub brews ho-hum beer and is clearly an underachiever.

Although I love the names of the beers (having lived in this area my whole life), they are flat and fairly boring. Yet, it is a nice looking, fun place to hang out.

A large selection of brews to choose from. I had 2 different IPA's. Neither were very hoppy. I would stop in again if I'm in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Weak beer, tried 3 different kinds. One pitcher was incredibly flat and another lacked any body.

This place wants to remind me of the Hops brewery/restaurant chain, but the food and beer quality is better. Good selection of beers, 10 to choose from. The porter and stout were good compared to some of the others I have tried. They need to rinse the glasses a little better because the stout had a very faint soapy taste...(could of been the beer though?!) Overall it was a very nice friendly establishment. I will be back to sample a few more selections and even try their after dinner selections too.

The atmosphere was nice. However, just like Hops, the food was really good, but the beer sucked!
