The Rue St Laurent Biere et Compagnie was closed as of August 2006. I passed by in December 2006 and it is now a souvlaki restaurant.

Great atmosphere, chill beats, beautiful wait staff (specially ours), casual setting. The large beer selection with corresponding glasses and coasters for most is an example of the detail this place gets into. The food is excellent and priced right. All you can eat mussels Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights... going back there for that some day soon!
Highly recommended place to go to.

A wonderful beer lounge. Nice upscale decor & atmosphere. They have a nice multi-page beer menu, with a nice list of local Quebec offerings.
The menu has some eclectic twists such as the caribou burger, but the part that drew me in were the selection of mussels - 30 different preparations are available.
