Had the 420 RAD. One of the best brews I've had. It's like an IPA but very flavorful.

All beers were very drinkable. large variety of styles. Only the asparagus beers was not worthy..ok maybe a sip. Basil was different yet really good.

This used to be a good place. The brewmaster that made this place what it is doesn't work there anymore. And neither does the assistant brewer. No idea who is cranking out the beer these days, but it sucks compared to the stuff John would make. ughh. No reason to go anymore, there aren't even any hot chicks there. Chris

First time visit, was impressed with their 12 taps and one cast selection. They love to experiment with flavors, hops and styles. The bourbon stout and Gramercy ale were worth the visit. Outstanding flavors and aroma's. No food at this establishment but you can bring in your own. Service was friendly and ready to answer questions. The owner stopped by and chatted with him for awhile on the styles they make. They are constantly changing their selection of beers so what you might like on your visit may not be there when you return. If you want to try some very unique beers then put this pub on your list to visit.

Russ Springsteen the owner and John Niedermaier, the brew master (formerly of Traverse Brewing Company) offer an ever changing and wonderful menu of fresh brews. Great conversation and atmosphere in the warehouse district of Traverse City, MI. You must check this out.

If you are in the Traverse City area and want to find people who know their beer, Right Brain is the place to go. No food, only snacks, but there are as many as 12 hand crafted brews on tap with a whole message board of coming attractions. We visited twice in a week and filled three growlers each time. Check out their website at http://www.rightbrainbrewery.com/

I GUESS I'LL TAKE THE HONOR OF THE FIRST REVIEW. DEFINITELY NOT MY TYPE OF PLACE WHEN IT COMES TO QUAFFING HAND-CRAFTED BEER. LARGE WAREHOUSE DEVIDED INTO SMALLER OPEN AREAS...ONE OF WHICH IS THE TAP ROOM FOR THIS BREWERY WHICH IS LOCATED IN ANOTHER BUILDING (THE GARAGE NEXT TO THE WAREHOUSE). YOU GOT YOUR COFFEE SHOP AND HAIR SALON ON THE SAME FLOOR AS THE TASTING ROOM. NO COPPER OR STAINLESS EQUIPMENT TO ADMIRE, NO T.V.'S,NO DECK,NO FOOD OR JUKEBOX....A BUNCH OF BOARD GAMES WITH LOW VOLUME MUSIC AND DIM LIGHTING TO SET THE MOOD. TO EACH HIS OWN.

GREAT SELECTION OF 12 - 16 BEERS ON TAP WITH IPA ON CASK. PALE ALE STANDS OUT IN MY MIND. YOU CAN TELL THEY ARE GOING TO PUT UP SOME REALLY CREATIVE BEERS IN THE FUTURE. I WISH THEM WELL...JUST HOPE THEY CAN DISTRIBUTE WELL.
