The International Tap Room (iTAP) opened 2/01/09. It's slogan is 500 beers, 40 taps, 20 Countries, 1 Location. I was at the "soft" opening on 1/31/09 and they do not exaggerate. Located in a strip center iTAP is not huge. As you walk in the bar is to the right and the majority of the left wall consists of their huge cooler with the bottle selection. They have 4 HD televisions. The staff is very friendly and has very good knowledge of the beers served.
Although food is not prepared on the premises, they have menus from nearby restaurants which deliver and you can bring your own food in.
This is a beer bar pure and simple which concentrates on craft beers and imports. This is not the place for a "macro" beer drinker. I saw nobody drinking a Bud, Miller or Coors. There was one person drinking wine. Their 20 page bottle list gives a description of the many beer styles they have as well as info on each of the beers within that style. I am a hop head and love ipas. In their description of ipas they indicate they "love hops." They prove it by having 42 ipas in bottles as well as a half a dozen or so on tap including several Imperials.
