Formerly named the "Mad Monk" (the coasters still showed that name), this brewpub features a largely tapas type menu and a modest selection of house beers. On tap were kolsch, wheat, pale ale, rauch, and porter. Seasonal brews are also done. I opted for the pale ale with a Sunday afternoon special of paella cooked right outside amongst the diners. I followed that with the porter. Both beers were solid in their interpretations. The brewing equipment is not readily apparent to the casual eye. With luck, you may be able to secure an outdoor seat overlooking the busy pedestrian traffic along South Terrace Street.
