I will never forget the last time I ate at Bosco's.When we asked our waiter for more bread,we heard a very rude manager named Suzie tell him no.I was shocked. The waiter then told us she wouldnt let him get us bread until he had cleaned another table off,When I ask for something,I think that comes first.I've been here a few times.Food is not worth it,but the beer is good.Eat somewhere good first, then go get a drink at Bosco's.

The owners have temporary closed this location. This was due to skyrocketing rent costs, as I understand it. I hear they are looking for a new location to re-open in the East Memphis/Germantown area.

Marvellous cask conditioned ales with a different cask each evening at 6 PM. Very, very good ! The menu is very adventurous as well, with lots of interesting, tasty things to choose from. Tough to find, as it's buried in a monster mall, but worth the effort. Better than the mid-town branch for food, although the ales are equivalent.

Recently completed another of my infrequent visits to this brewpub in the swank eastern suburbs of Memphis. As always, the IPA and Scottish Ale were very good, although this time they had a disturbingly similar taste. A wood-fired pizza and calzone were sampled and both were quite tasty. As often is the case, the service was not very attentive. I didn't know that the vapid Valleyspeak dialect had spread to the Mid South but alas, it has. Warning: if you want mixed drinks from the bar, expect a very short pour. However, despite its failings this is still BY FAR the best brewpub in the Memphis area and worth a visit.

This brewpub is a nice change from the mid-south's offering of computer generated beers. I had the Scottish Ale. It was full body and went well with the lamb pasta. As you drive down I-40 in TN being passed by long haul truckers, this would be a good stop for a brew. Graceland is about 25 min. away from this stop.

The quality of the food and beer was enhanced by the knowledge of our waitress. She was able to inform us about the different beers available. The restraunt was quite busy since it was a Saturday night, but this didn't result in poor service. The famous Flaming Stone was a treat. Unique flavors, caramelly and malty. Unfortunately the cask conditioned ales, that are also famous, are only available on week nights. I look forward to getting back someday for that.

On my recent visit to this establishment the service was particularly bad as th waitress was apparently trying to train a extremely lazy student. The beer was good as usual as was the food.

I love great beer. Bosco's has only great beer. Try to show up just before 5 o'clock on a weekday for the Cellerman Contest and definitely try the Germantown Alt. Service has improved in the dining area and the bar staff has always been great. The hearth baked pizzas are worth checking out. Overall a cozy, friendly pub with an impressive northern Italian influenced menu.

Recently had an opportunity to revisit this brewpub in the tony Saddle Creek shopping center for the first time in three years. Six beers were available, including one cask conditioned pale ale. All six products were good, with my favorites being the IPA and Scottish ale (Isle of Skye). The two food entrees sampled were very good, and due to the lateness of the hour, the crowd was small. Our waiter was in dire need of a personality implant (amazing ability to suck all life out of those he addressed) but he was attentive and met cutomer food and drink needs adequately. Regrettably, I must echo one remark made years earlier: Memphis is pitifully short of brewpubs, and as a result Bosco's is truly an oasis in a bleak beer landscape.

The beer here is just as good as the Bosco's in Nashville - the only difference is that there are a few less to choose from. Of course, there is a different cask conditioned ale on every night. For my money, the Isle of Skye Scottish is even better here than in Nashville. The service, as mentioned by others is really awful - expect to chase your waitperson around for whatever you may need. Overall though, the beer here is at a level above most brewpubs in the Southeast.

Stone beer and pizza were quite good. A softball team was getting hammered there at the time, which says something; I'm not sure what.

The beer's pretty good but the atmosphere tends to be a bit "high-browed". Stick to the pizza unless you're the adventurous type.

The first Memphis brewpub. One of those middle-of-the-road pubs where the beer is OK - fascinating to the bud light drinker, but pretty dull to the fanatic. Food is in the pretty good, fairly expensive, middle-of-the-road-brewpub vein.

Was charged by the glass ($1.25) for my sampler of 7 brews. Rather pricy. Beer was good but not great. Spinach / artichoke dip appetizer was good, quattro formaggio pizza was great!

Very attractive brewpub located in an upscale shopping center in the eastern suburbs of Memphis. The quality of the products is generally high, and the food is above average for a brewpub. This place can be quite crowded during happy hour periods, taking on a meat market feel. In spite of that, this brewpub is a godsend for the beer deprived in the Memphis area. It's a very long drive to the nearest quality brewpub...
