Unfortunately, Yellow Rose is said to have gone out of business a few months ago. They had a good variety of beer styles, but had consistency problems that were aggravated by the tendency of their products to sit on retail shelves long past their pull date. The Wildcatter Stout was excellent, and the American Wheat (Bubba Dog) and Brown Ale (Honcho Grande) were very good for those styles. Another small Texas brewery bites the dust.

Didn't get to see the brewery because they said I needed to get a reservation, and they had no samples at the time. I have now had all of their beers, and I must say they are all quality brews with character.

Yellow Rose makes some great beer products. The best are Bubba Dog, a unique wheat beer that is loaded with wheat flavor, yet it still manages to have a smooth finish, and Wildcatters Stout, a dark brew with a roasted malt flavor. Other noteworthy products include the Pale Ale and Cactus Queen IPA. The Vigilante Porter, Blonde Ox, and Honcho Grande Brown Ale are not as good as the above, but still above average compared to other beers of similar style. If you find yourself in Texas make sure that you try all of the beer products of Yellow Rose Brewing. And don't forget: Enjoy this beer with good food, good friends, and your favorite dog.

Their IPA is hopped to perfection...one of the best! Porter and stout suitably chewy with great mouth feel. Their lighter beers are just that...lighter than I'd like. Still, one of the best in Texas!

This brewery brews some of the best beer in Texas and the rest of the country for that matter. Bubba Dog beer is my favorite all time beer.

As far as I know this is a brewery and not a brewpub. Take note: their brown ale is among the best ever brewed.
