Still closed up but may be re-opening, there was a new sign on the door related to "deliveries made around back", but the place looked closed up tight as a drum. Try Jupiter 1/2 block away on Locust St. Ok, now for all you guys, and possibly Monica's, searching for good cigars & claim nobody in the "Bay Area" has them, try looking @ 975 D Detroit Ave in Concord, Ca 94518 925-939-BEER @ "Beer Beer & More Beer",(also available online @ www.morebeer.com). They sell an impressive selection of Cigars, & happen to also have equipment needed to make just about any beer or wine you can imagine. They have ready-made kits, & bulk supplies of ingredients, for small and large scale brewing with equipment for wine or beer & if the owner's on hand he can answer any questions (he's got a degree from Davis and is very friendly. If that doesn't work for you try looking in the Yellow Pages of the Central Contra Costa County Phone book 1999-2000 edition, where there are nearly 2 full pages devoted to CIGARS of every type in nearly every city, there's even one on Locust St in WCR, gee what a surprise!

This location has been closed down... fortunatly, Jupiter is just south by about 1/2 a block, and the beers I tried were rather tasty!

A large selection of beers, but except for the Burton Ale, all taste approximately the same: bland. Maybe they taste better with the cigars bought on the premises, but I doubt it. Pricey food. If I had to choose between Faultline and Black Diamond, I'd head to San Francisco...!//TSB

Great selection of beer. They have a Burtan Pale Ale that uses water using the same chemistry as they do in Burton, England. Add nitrogen to the mix and they have a good beer. Their porter is pretty good too. Their beer was bad in the begining but they have turned it around. Now if they would change their menu...Great location.

I was disappointed with the beer, flat and not much flavor. The food is good, but a bit pricey.

Sampling 11 beers can be quite a challenge and at $1.25 for a 4oz glass it is quite expensive too. This was the only place in the Bay Area that I found Cigars for sale.

Good place to spend a lot of money on a really high class dinner. They used to have a NY Strip Steak on the menu that was to die for, but it is no more. Now I just come for the beer, which is really good. Live music is usually really good, too. I just wish the menu was better and less expensive.

The place seems pre-fabricated, like the rest of Walnut Creek. But the Horton Pale Ale is very good. Food was adequate. Pierced tounge on the bartender. Nice touch.

Well I tried the Fault Line twice and both times the service was lousy. The Beer is ok but not great. If you live in Walnut Creek, drive the extra 2 miles to Black Diamond Brewery.

Love this place. Their goal is for some 22 beers on tap. Hows that for selection? The food is actually the attraction for me here. Some outstanding dishes! A top notch restaurant, with good beer. Some of the beers are VERY good, others good. None bad.

Beers are clean and well made, but they are all fairly similar. None of them really stood out for me.
