"Three blocks north of the Astoria Boulevard stop on the N (maybe it's 3 from Ditmars too), even in winter this is a fine, fine place to eat and drink in Astoria. Freshest Pilsner Urquell I've tasted, and the Jever, Staropramen, and Spaten didn't suck either. Big cheap ($7!) plates of pork or sausage, sauerkraut and potatoes really hits the spot while you're drinking. Will need to go back when it's warm enough for the beer garden to open again, just to fully appreciate this place. "
