"ONE OF THE MOST INTEGRAL, AND MOST ROCKING BARRS IN PITTSBURGH. A BEST-KEPT SECREAT!!! Gooskies is part of Pittsburgh independent music heritage. It has amazing character. Cheep, good beers (barley-wines, lagers, micro..), a nice microbrew selection. When you walk in you feel like you just entered a Quinton Tarenteno movie. The bar is sparsely lit and the pool tables aren’t abused. The jukebox is legendary. On Fridays and Saturdays, local and domestic bands hard rock bands display their talent, attracting a different crowd. Its a tough no gimmick bar that is sure to impress any-one who has a problem with a top 40 radio station. A must see and experience for subversive music lovers and subversive drink lovers. It's not the prettiest place, but it is the coolest."
