"I have been to several pubs in the greater Baltimore-Washington area and countless pubs in Ireland. But, this was our first trip to Ireland's Four Courts and i can safely say it will NOT be our last. What a GREAT place this is!! Easily accessible by Metro with ample parking close by, there is no reason not to go.
Usually, I find pub food "ordinary" at best. But the Shepherd's Pie here was the best I've had anywhere. My wife had the Chicken Innishmore and absolutely loved it. We recommend starting out with the Calamari (an unusual preparation with sliced cherry peppers) or the Shrimp Stuffers.
The Guinness was ice cold, the craic was lively, and the music spirited. What else could you ask for?
General Manager David CaHill from Limerick really knows how to treat his customers so that they feel special. And our hostess, Jennifer, and server, Tony McCann from Co. Down, ensured that we were never lacking anything.
GO THERE!! It's an absolute MUST!!
By the way, in October they will be opening up a new place in Baltimore's Inner Harbor called The James Joyce and I intend to be one of the first in line!!"
