Report a Problem With A Review
of Bier Garden - Asheville, NC
Complete the form below to tell us about the problematic review for Bier Garden, which says:
"This place wins the prize for being perhaps the most puzzling of the various beer-houses in Asheville. First, the Pros: (1) outstanding selection – 200+ -- of bottled beer from around the world, and (2) an quality selection of taps, emphasizing the local beers (and, quite surprisingly, Lindemann’s Framboise Lambic). But now the Cons: (1) atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired – Top 40 and Disco are not normally the best choices for a beer-bar; Cher and 80’s music never is. (2) Service. Went again on a Thursday afternoon, and the only staff on-hand was the bartender, who was also acting as the only waitress. Jack-of-all-trades = master of none. And (3) odd clientele. First time featured red-necks flirting with women(?) dressed up in prom dresses, and some poor sod who couldn’t decide what to drink, and so settled on a Coors Light. Second time consisted of a gentleman enjoying the (admittedly) complete selection of non-alcoholic beers available. Never did eat there, since the wait-staff was also either distracted or otherwise M.I.A. So, overall, worth a stop to ensure that you’ve had the chance to taste what the region has to offer for beer, and perhaps a few other rarities, but I’d be hard-pressed to recommend it for an extended stay….//TB"
