"Grizzly Peak is the place to go for dinner with beers. The beer is very good, but it seems that GP aims to make it a bit bland in an attempt to broaden its appeal. GP is after all a franchise and I would say the beer reflects this with "corporate" flavor undertones. My favorites are usually the cask-conditioned ales, which are made on a smaller scale and are unique to each GP establishment, as opposed to being uniform across the franchise (McBeer? :) GP is more of a yuppie bar than a place to drink beer, with an upscale clientele. Unlike the beer, the food is excellent and the menu broad and varied. I suggest dining at GP with a beer or two, then heading down the block to Arbor Brewing, which has the best beer in Ann Arbor, but lower quality food."
