"I found that GP beers were very bland and lacked much real character. I agree with another reviewer that they seemed to reflect a "corporate" feel, possibly to appeal to a wider audience that may not fully appreciate what a good IPA or Abbey ale should taste like. I also found that the atmosphere and the food were very snooty. By this I mean that you can't just order a hamburger. You have to get a hamburger with all sorts of fancy fixings all over it that I later had to peel off. Not a big deal to some, and I'm sure that some like it, but to a simple guy like me it is a bit over the top, but so is most of Ann Arbor. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. "
