"A combination beer bar and sports bar where I can sit back and enjoy a pint of Middle Ages Wailing Wench or Sixpoint Black Soul Porter, eat buffalo wings provided for free by the management and watch my beloved University of Connecticut Huskies on the multiple widescreen tvs? Somebody pinch me....I think I'm dreaming. I never got to Standings during its previous incarnation as Brewksy's, but judging by some of the more recent reviews that doesn't seem like such a bad thing. It hasn't been very crowded during my visits, but they seem to be offering quite a bit of incentives (the aforementioned free buffalo wings at game time) to change that. They post schedules of thier events at the bar, so check them out. Go Huskies!"
