"In the pub desert that is Mid-Town (where all you need to open an irish pub is to put a "Mc" in front of your name and serve Guiness) I was anxious to find a true or even Decent Pub- hence the trip to Thady Con's. Unfortunately, upon the padlocked door was a notice dated December 2005 proclaiming that the establishment had been closed due to "conditions imminently perilous to life." Oh boy... just what does that mean?"
