"I have to agree with the previous reviewer--the service is slow. My food came quickly, but having to wait 10 to 15 minutes every time I ordered a beer was a bit much.
The Bottleworks is located in a converted supermarket and they have done a pretty fair job into a spacious pub. They also give free tours of the bottling line with sampling afterwards.
The beer selection is not as extensive as the Tap Room. I tried their seasonals. The Kolsch was very good--perfect for a hot day. The Raspberry Hefe was excellent! It was one of the best fruit beer's I've tasted. What made it so special is that brewer realizes that a taste of raspberry is all you need--the fruit should not overpower the beer. The Maplewood Ale was mediocre.
The Food was excellent. They make a point of using locally produced food (some coming from their own produce garden!). They also have food you don't normally see on a menu like bison, venison, and a grain blend of red quinoa, black barley, and kamut wheat.
If you are not a St. Louis Native, it might be a little hard to find, but it is worth the trip!"
