"A very comfortable room with a big bar area. But I question the owners' orientation: they may brew their own beers in those big stainless vats prominently displayed in front, but their emphasis seems to be the huge platters of so-so food. I tried the cask IPA, and on first sip, ingested a big lunger-piece of snot floating on the surface. The server was not surprised, mumbling something about "settlement in the lines." After that, my objectivity may have been lost, but none of the beers sampled seemed even as good as Rock Bottom. My buddy had the 8-beer "Sampler" His conclusion was that only the wheat was drinkable. The Quesidillas were big and bland, as were most of the other food offerings. My Peppercorn filet steak was cooked properly, but seemed over-tenderized: more like a square of meat-pudding. The bill for 5 of us came to $150 including 2 beers apiece and tip...not a cheap lunch."
