Report a Problem With A Review
of Old Dominion Brewhouse - Washington, DC
Complete the form below to tell us about the problematic review for Old Dominion Brewhouse, which says:
"This is a franchise bar/restaurant that primarily offers brews from the Dominion Brewing Co. of Ashburn, VA. NOT directly owned by Dominion Brewing.
This bar/restaurant is located in the new Washington Convention Center complex, but the entrance is from the outside on 9th Street (and don't expect any help finding the place from the lousy workers in the Convention Center, who just stared at me blankly as I tried to find the place).
Thought they don't brew their own beer, they feature most of the offerings of the Dominion Brewing Co., based in Ashburn, VA. I counted 16 taps for Dominion brews (including their own root beer for the kiddies and Designated Drivers). They also had another 16 taps of mega-macros (Bud, Miller, Coors (?)) and mini-macros (Widmer, Sierra, Yuengling, Pilsner Urquel).
The place has a full menu, with plenty of good appetizers (I tried the spinach-crab dip and the chicken lettuce wraps - both excellent). Entrees included basics like burgers, steak, chicken, etc.
Decor was new and clean -- sports-bar orients with many flat-screens -- but still nice with wood tables, comfortable chairs, nice, big bar. This place is a very nice addition to the neighborhood and seems to be developing into a neighborhood gathering place."
