"The only place with electricity within 50-miles Saturday night thanks to the morons at National Grid. Lake George was closed (yes, the whole place) so choices were limited (John Carr - I tried). The storm had passed anyway and it was a beautiful night to sit on the patio. All of the beers here are above average but the current batch of ESB could be a gold medal winner at either the GABF or world beer cup. After finishing the sampler it was an easy choice! With bottles available I even took some home (I always forget my growler). The service here is exceptional and Rick always finds time to stop and say hello. If there was ever a reason to move up north it would be this pub. "
