"wow, just my luck...arrived in aspen on a wednesday night, in preparation for a weekend rugby tournament, and the town was dead...just looking for a respectable brew...and i found it!! walking down a dark, scarey street...i thought this place didnt exist...then all of a sudden...wow, a jammed full parking lot and illegal street parking overflow...turns out..tonight just happened to be their 6 month nniversary...tonight was "you flip for it" half price pints...and even though i was a three time loser...the beers made me a three time winner..rory, brad...and i forget the other dude's name...not only make you feel like a local...they also educate on their brews...they offer up the full complement of beers typical of a brew pub...a red, pleasant brown (great story here), respectable wheat and a lager are regular fare...they skipped the pale ale in favoure of the tremendously hopped balanced "independence pass ale"...[get it ipa??) anyways, you will be doing yourself a favoure checking this place out...good beer close to the heart of aspen...(they also are pulling some taps in town (ie hotel jerome)...the town doesnt like em...{making them close at 9} but it is obvious the locals appreciate them and judging by the crowd on their 6mo anniv...they are here to stay!"
