"Great beer, friendly staff, central location right next to the Pearl St. Mall. If you're staying downtown (say, at the Boulderado), this is a good place to go. Unfortunately, the dining area is small and fills up fast, and with no sound insulation it gets loud. The Mountain Sun is known locally as being something of a hippie bar (which you may or may not like, depending on your tastes - I don't really care). Most locals (I was a local for 12+ years) prefer the Mountain Sun's larger sibling on the south side of town, the Southern Sun."
