We had the best meal! The lobster bisque was creamy and smooth without the usual heavy floured broth. There were chunks of fresh lobster. My crab cakes were delicious and sweet - mostly crab with very little filler. The fresh dinner salad was more than generous and the rich mac and cheese was a winner. My companion's scallops on risotto were also so fresh and well prepared. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff and a very resonable bill. When visiting we will definitely stop here again and bring a bottle ( or 2) of wine with us as it was BYOB.

My friends and I went to have a nice dinner trying to find a new place. The food was absolutely delicious. We had everything form appetizers, soup (the Lobster Bisque was wonderful) to sea food and beef dishes and even desert, everything was out of the world. We went with two men that could eat and we all left with full stomachs. I was surprised when we got our bill, the prices are so reasonable. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the whole night was pleasurable.

Had dinner there last week. Food and service was great. Fried calamari for appetizer, scallops for dinner with the best side of baked mac and cheese that I ever had, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great. Highly recommend for a great casual dinner and then hit the bars of West End.

New on the scene in Long Branch’s West End, High Tide Seafood & Grill provides great seafood at reasonable prices. The house specialty is crab: Alaskan King Crab; Snow Crab; Blue Claw Crab and Soft Shell Crab. A full menu of seafood specialties also includes pasta, red meat and chicken for the landlubbers. “HIGH TIDE HOOF & HOOK” combines the best of land and sea. A lunch menu ranges from burgers and BLTs to a crab cake sandwich or a lobster roll. Deserts are homemade. Beverages – BYOB!
