Market City is in the plaza where Hefner's was, a Chinese buffet was, and CC's Waffles was. It's a tough spot to make it as a restaurant for some reason. Perhaps the rent is too high or the Sharon is too poor to support restaurants.
Market City purports to make things fresh - notably the desserts.
I was looking for some meatless options and had a real problem eating here. My options consisted of a salad and an order or pierogies.
The salad was fairly good - green - and with crutons that were seasoned and better than the stale bread you get in most places.
The pierogies were nothing notable. The could have been and likely were a mass produced frozen product.
Still being hungry I ventured into a piece of pumpkin pie that was sufficient. It wasn't a pie to rival my mother's but it was good considering I was still hungry.
About $15 with tip and I left hungry.
