Stevenson Inn and Restaurant is in the old Stevenson Elementary School in Masury, visible to the right side of Route 62 when heading south towards Hubbard, Ohio.
The restaurant is in the auditorium area in the front of the building. They have a bar in the same area and a bunch of two and four person tables.
The menu is several different groups of things - there is American food, Italian and Middle Eastern as well as a separate pizza menu. A nice mixture of international options all in one place makes this place special. There is a list of side options on the back of the menu also.
So far we've tried the Middle Eastern food - although not as ambitious as some we've had elsewhere, it's respectable and priced more than reasonably. More greenery in the fatoush salad and perhaps more fresh lemon would have solved some of our ever so slight issue with the Middle Eastern food. Just to be clear, we'd order the Middle Eastern food and yes, the fatoush salad again :)
Another time, we tried the pizza which was surprising good and filling. It even reheated as leftovers just fine and was arguably better reheated.
Only strikeout in our dining here was the coleslaw which we didn't like and our waitress later said she doesn't like either. Coleslaw is only good when made fresh and served fresh. The coleslaw here certainly is bought premade and doctored on site.
The first time there they had a pumpkin beer on tap. Second trip there no such thing. Just lots of macro beers. Obviously, the beer selection could be improved and an alcoholic beverage menu should be offered to diners.
Only other slight gripe is last time there it was a tad too chilly. Perhaps they are working out the HVAC controls still as the place is brand new like the cold weather.
Hopefully, we'll make it to Stevenson one of the nights when they have live entertainment - as they are rumored to have. The area sorely lacks live entertainment and it's a dining feature that surely would set this place apart.
We saw lots of folks using part of the basement - so assuming they are fine with larger parties and/or catering on site. Still wondering what they have in store for the Inn portion of their name. It's a wonderful building along a main artery and not far from junction with Route 80. Hopefully, they market this place and find success from all directions. This place has tons of potential is brand new, so we expect it will only get better.
