Rated the Anchor Grill "Good" in all categories, but this should be taken in context!
The Anchor Grill is open 24/7, 364 days a year (closed for Christmas) They do a decent breakfast and lunch business, and serve a decent home-style dinner. But where the Anchor really gets the love is after-hours, after the bars close. To put it in perspective, at 3 PM, the Anchor almost gets one star... at 3 AM, it's as close to 5 stars as you can find in Covington at that hour! (Unless you can handle White Castle at 3 AM after a night of too much beer!)
The decor deserves a comment, too... "kitsch" doesn't begin to describe it.
In short, if you're ever hungry in Covington in the middle of the night, I highly recommend the Anchor Grill!
