Texas celebrates Shiner Beer’s 100th anniversary
 If we live to 100, it’s going to be a miracle. Shiner Beer, however, hit that mark this year and the great state of Texas threw a party to celebrate. (As it should.)
The state’s legislature took a moment to honor the little brewery that could. In the House Representative Geanie Morrison did the honors, while Senator Glenn Hegar led the Senate ceremony.
The brewery produced Shiner Bock, one of the country’s best-selling craft beers. Hopefully it will be around for the next 100 years.
