Canning ‘Avalanche’ crashes into Breckenridge Brewery
 The beer in cans movement has another ally.
Breckenridge Brewery, in Breckenridge, Colorado, will bring its Avalanche Ale to consumers in 12 oz aluminum cans.
According to brewery director Todd Usry:
“Whether its boating, camping or concert-going, we put Avalanche Ale in cans so that our customers could take their favorite brew with them wherever they go. The response so far has been tremendous. Retailers and customers alike tell us the quality, eye-catching graphics and design of the cans really make them stand out on store shelves. We are extremely pleased with the end result of the can from Rexam and see a real future for our craft beers in cans.”
You could say that the canning avalanche continues to careen down the mountain.
